The Plan:
• Rivertree Academy Lake Como is an Elementary Day School in Como - an under resourced community in Fort Worth, Texas. Pre-K through 5th grade students will be accepted into this accredited program.

EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE, ESSENTIAL DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned. To work at Rivertree and maintain a manageable stress load, an individual must be flexible, teachable, and humble. EXPECTED SKILLS:
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning - Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct assessments and track student progress
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive teaching methods - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
COMPETENCIES:
● To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
● Attendance/Punctuality - Consistently be at work and on time. Prepare thorough lesson plans and sub instructions for days absent from work. Arrive at meetings and appointments on time. Attend and participate in scheduled devotions, staff development sessions, and after school meetings as set by the administration.
RELATIONSHIPS:
● Use time appropriately and wisely. Follow instructions and respond to management direction. Follow through with responsibilities and communicate progress. Accept responsibility for own actions.
● Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences. Demonstrate the ability to address the various learning styles of students. Educate others on the value of diversity.
● Inspire the trust of others by keeping commitments and working with integrity. Seek to model biblical morals and values at all times.
● Manage difficult or emotional family situations with compassion and grace. Respond promptly to student or family needs. Solicit feedback to improve communication and service. Respond to requests for service and assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with preschool or young students
- Strong background in early childhood education or related field
- Proficiency in childcare practices and toddler care
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for young learner
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff effectively
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
