ABOUT RIVERTREE ACADEMY
Rivertree Academy is a Christian independent school located in the Lake Como Community of Fort Worth, Texas. We exist to serve Christ by educating his children. Rivertree Academy LOVES our children, PREPARES them for the next academic experience, and EXPOSES them to a GREAT God. We believe that children of Rivertree will go on to be agents for change in their communities, and the best way to achieve that goal is to teach them to Learn, Love, Work, and Lead Well. Our students attend on scholarships, because of our many generous partners and donors who make this education possible!
OUR HISTORY
Dr. Randy Brown founded Rivertree Academy after moving his family to Lake Como in 2006, where he began serving local children and families. Initially established as BURN Ministries (Building, Uniting, Restoring Neighborhoods) in 2011, the organization was renamed Rivertree Academy in 2014 with a new vision: equipping students to become magnanimous leaders who use their gifts in service of others. in Como. Rivertree Academy opened in August 2015 with 46 students in grades Pre-K4 through 2nd grade.
We provide a safe environment and individualized education, meeting the unique needs of every student. Due to our rigorous curriculum, continuous support, and whole child approach, our students continue to test higher than other students and schools in Fort Worth.
Choosing Rivertree Academy for your child is an investment in their future, providing them with an education that is academically excellent, Christ-centered, and character shaping. A Rivertree education is a community endeavor, uniting generous partners to fund excellent education through scholarships and fee reductions for the families we serve.
Today, Rivertree serves 100 PreK-3 through 5th grade students, offering well-rounded programming to meet the needs of every student. In January 2025, we achieved a significant milestone by consolidating our three separate Lake Como campuses into a single new facility, unifying our school community under one roof.
